Toffees
Steven “Toffees” Pierce is currently an analyst and caster for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. He previously held those roles when he worked with Dota 2. Pierce, a self-described “gaming dad,” leads seminars for local school districts to educate parents on esports and video game safety.
Pierce has always loved two things: competition and video games. His days of playing traditional sports were ended with a knee injury, but that injury started him on his path to esports. He became interested in esports during his recovery after knee surgery and began casting anything he could and started a podcast. As an early adopter of PUBG, Pierce is familiar with the professional scene and much of PUBG Corp.
His favorite event was the 2018 PUBG Global Invitational European Qualifiers. It was three weeks of “amazing PUBG.” Pierce, a native Hawaiian, is a father of two and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to esports, he was an actor and taught Improvisation, Characterization and Commercial performance for the John Robert Powers talent agency.
Some of his favorite games include PUBG, Red Dead Redemption and “anything” from Sid Meier. Pierce joined CSA in October of 2018.
