Stax
Sean “Stax” Stackhouse is an esports caster with a passion for Psyonix’s Rocket League. He fell in love with the game when it came out in 2015 and began casting in 2016. He has worked with the Rocket League Championship Series since Season 5. Outside esports, Stackhouse works in sports as a Public Address Announcer with the University of Maine.
Stackhouse always wanted to be involved in the video game industry. Growing up, he wanted to be a writer at a video game magazine and aspired to work for ESPN. While neither ended up happening, he got hooked on Rocket League and sought to enter the industry through casting instead of reporting. His cherishes his time as a part of the RLCS Rival Series and Season 6’s play-in weekend as the other talent are also some of his “closest friends.”
Known as a quick learner, Stackhouse pulls from his experience in traditional sports commentary to influence and improve his esports casting. Located in Pittsfield, Maine, some of his favorite games include Rocket League, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Mario Party and Mario Kart 64.
