Rivington Bruce Bisland III a.k.a. “RivingtonThe3rd” has been a fixture of North American esports since his online debut as a Counter-Strike 1.6 commentator in 2003. Hailing from upstate New York, Bisland grew up in close proximity to the burgeoning NYC esports scene, and traveled regularly to work live events at the Nokia Theater, the Samsung Experience, and Javits Center. By 2010, Bisland’s resume boasted a broad range of experience across multiple PC, console, and mobile titles including Painkiller, Gears of War, Street Fighter, Asphalt 4, Starcraft: Brood War, and Call of Duty. When League of Legends, a new game with a rapidly-growing fan base, began building its monumental esports empire, Bisland moved to Los Angeles to help lay the foundation as one of Riot’s first in-house casters. For a decade, Bisland traveled the globe commentating, interviewing players, hosting events, and creating groundbreaking content for the massively-popular moba League of Legends. When Riot announced a new title, Valorant, Bisland celebrated the return to his tactical FPS commentary roots.
