Frankie
Frankie Ward spent the past ten years as a producer, but it was only when she produced coverage of the 2015 League of Legends Worlds Quarter-Finals at Wembley for the BBC, that she realised that she could make gaming her career.
Moving to Twitch as a producer for Twitch Studios in July 2016 before moving full-time into hosting in 2018, when she was given the huge opportunity of co-hosting the PC Gaming Show at E3 – a show that reached an audience of over two million viewers. After working on a number of titles, including PUBG: Battlegrounds, Overwatch, League of Legends and Hearthstone, Frankie made her mark on the Counter-Strike esports scene in the reporting role at the ESL Intel Extreme Masters Katowice CS:GO Major Championship 2019, going onto become a well-known face in the community.
Frankie is equally as comfortable stage hosting in a packed arena as she is on the sidelines helping a player through their first interview or desk hosting in a studio. In 2021 she hosted landmark DOTA 2 event The International 10, and made her first major UK TV appearance in the reboot of classic Channel 4 TV show GamesMaster as their expert commentator.
