John “BLU” Mullen III is best known for his casting and analysis on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He has been involved with CS:GO since 2015 and recently expanded into Rainbow 6: Siege. Mullen also has experience with Quake Champions, Guild Wars 2, Echo Arena, The Unspoken and ONWARD. 

He has experience working events that include Intel Extreme Masters, ESL One, ESL Pro League, DreamHack Open and others. He has done promotional activations for Sony Pictures, Oculus, Hulu, GungHo America, Skydance Interactive and MADFINGER Games

Mullen’s favorite event was ESL One New York 2016. The experience of casting and telling a story to a live crowd was a “powerful experience” he has yet to replicate again. Mullen joined CSA in early 2018.

Mullen has loved video games his entire life. Esports first caught his attention when MLG began broadcasting Halo 2 in the mid-2000s. Some of his favorite games include Metal Gear Solid V, Halo 3, Cuphead, Bastion and Enter the Gungeon. He started a series of fighting game tournaments at his local high school in his youth that are still being run today.
